Sports day celebration of M. G. High school

         M. G. English High School, Sangli, 23 December : Sports day was held on 20th of the December in school ground. There were indoor game such as chess, carrom and table tennis. The most interesting, tough, were the outdoor games. Boys as well as girls took part. there were many races and other events such as the high jump and the long jump. The kabaddi for the boys and the girls were the most exciting. In the evening the 'fun' games were help. These were the most enjoyable They involved obstacle races where the obstacles were patches of wet mud and climbing ropes and nets. It was fun watching students plod through the 'chikhal' or using ropes to climb nets to get the other side. To see so many of them getting stuck or slipping was hilarious indeed ! All students enjoyed all the sports. Sports are very important for the students. They provide good exercise and help to create an all-round personality. The sports day was a very exciting day.
